CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILTY PROGRAMS

For two consecutive years, V & Co. has handled one of Canada’s most noteworthy Corporate Social Responsibility program, the Canadian Suit Drive. From securing spokespersons Patrick J. Kennedy (Suits) and Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek and The Affair), to working with Head Coaches from the NBA and NHL, to grassroots PR in regional markets across Canada, PR efforts consistently surpassed impressions goals in 2017 and 2018.

STARTUPS & INVESTMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Pioneering a new path in the competitive food tech space can be challenging but V & Co. PR can help soften the ground. For Canadian start-up, ChefHero, V & Co. handled its Series A announcement, and US launch, securing earned media with influential niche foodservice outlets like The Spoon, et al.

MEDIA TOURS & PRESS EVENTS

V & Co. worked with Edgewood Health Network, Canada’s leader in the treatment of mental health and addiction, to create a media campaign designed to influence provincial and federal governments. To do this, V & Co. leveraged EHN’s new Advisory Board member – former US congressman, and JFK nephew, Patrick J. Kennedy to organize a press conference that urged key stakeholders for much-needed change in the handling of the opioid crisis and legalization of cannabis. Results included press coverage with CBC-TV, CTV News, CP24, and Global News.

SEASONAL PRODUCT LAUNCHES & MEDIA PREVIEWS

New collections or products don’t necessarily equate to news. It takes a savvy communications program to identify the angles that will deliver and make your brand stand out in the marketplace. To help drive sales, V & Co. created compelling seasonal media campaigns and media product previews for legendary garden and tool retailer, Lee Valley across Canada. Efforts included events to fuel media education, engagement, press coverage and social media traction. Seasonal campaigns resulted in press coverage at the onset of key consumer buying seasons from spring to outdoor living, to travel season to holiday shopping – and throughout the year.

CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS & LEADERSHIP POSITIONING

V & Co. is experienced in developing strategic communications campaigns designed to influence the business and investment community, as well as blunt the competition. For Chefs Plate, PR efforts have included the launch of Canada’s first 15 minute meal kit, news of ‘an eye toward an IPO’, corporate profile feature pieces in top tech trades, as well as awards submissions. Chefs Plate was recently acquired by global meal kit leader, Hello Fresh.
